The stunning village of Zuheros is perched on the edge of the Sierra Subbetica Mountains, Andalucía. There are bars, restaurants, a pharmacy and a village shop all within 20 minutes walk from the Cortijo. Further afield are Luque and Baena. Beana has great local shopping facilities and offers a cosmopolitan feel with numerous restaurants and bars. Both Luque and Baena can be reached by bike along the old railway cycle path that runs past the Cortijo.
If history, culture and architecture are your thing, these towns will impress, as will the beautiful city of Cordoba, reachable by the local bus service running from Zuheros.
For those with a passion for food and wine, the area is renowned for its bodegas and olive oil plants offering you the chance to taste their local produce.
