THE ACCOMMODATION

You will be staying in a completely renovated, eco friendly, rural tourism cortijo. Perched on the edge of the Subbetica mountains, with the stunning village of Zuheros only a stones throw away, this property is truly unique and undoubtably Spanish. Put simply we believe that you won't find better accommodation on a cycling/mountain biking holiday.

This property has been built with the intention of minimising its environmental impact. Hot water and central heating are provided by solar panels and a boiler that uses the natural combustible waste coming from local olive oil refineries.

As you approach the cortijo you are greeted with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and underlying valleys. You can take in the extensive grounds and gardens of the property which can take hours to explore. Entering the property you have a communal dining and lounge area where you can relax and socialise with other guests or watch a DVD. If you are having our prepared evening meals then these will take place in this area (or outside on the terrace).

Outside there are stunning views of the valleys below which can be enjoyed from the terrace, pool side or the luxury swimming pool complete with its own balcony. We have never seen a pool with a better view.

Back inside all the en-suite studio style rooms are brand new, complete with a small kitchenette (suitable for preparing your breakfast or an evening meal if you prefer to cater for yourself - this is optional), dining table/lounge area, double, twin or triple beds and a fully equipped en-suite bathroom (complete with a large bath, power shower, WC, basin and bidet. Nothing here has been compromised - there is no waiting 2 hours for a shower after a ride with us.

Each room has underfloor heating, air conditioning, TV, provisions for your breakfast, a free bar, and at extra cost materials to make a packed lunch. The twin rooms also come with their own private balcony.

Finally there is a secure bike store and workshop area, with all the tools you'll need to keep your bike running for the week.
